Budapest Jazz Orchestra Budapest Jazz Suite
Kornél Fekete-Kovács has composed a wonderful suite that exposes the single voice of the BJO from many different views and angles. His composition, true in all aspects to the traditions stemming from the work of the masters of big band composition, is also challenging; grounded in the present and pointing to the future.

Kornél Fekete-Kovács: Budapest Jazz Suite
The album is available in digital form at our retail partners
The musicians in the BJO are among the best in Hungary. They have worked on and succeeded in combining their individual talents and energy into a single voice. Kornél Fekete-Kovács has composed a wonderful suite that exposes that single voice of the BJO from many different views and angles. His composition, true in all aspects to the traditions stemming from the work of the masters of big band composition, is also challenging; grounded in the present and pointing to the future.
There are many styles of music represented in the Budapest Jazz Suite and Kornél's thoughtful and inspired compositions and arrangements always create a balanced and transparent sound, that makes it easy for the listener to experience the many fine details and layers of voices Kornél heard when creating this piece!
This is so pleasurable and stimulating to hear. Great music, played great! Hallelujah!
