János Ávéd, Márton Fenyvesi, Ákos Benkó Balance
Balance is the result of about ten years of relying on one another, both as musicians and friends, for which I will be eternally grateful to Ákos and Marci. Balance? In a state of inspiration, we trust ourselves to the wind. We allow it to sweep us up and lead us to a completely different theme. The wind often changes, and new music takes shape.
We are good ‘sails’ when we dare to stand in the wind without knowing its exact direction, because we trust it to take us to a good place, we trust that it will be good to travel together. In a boat the rudder is steered by whoever feels the need. With the wind, we can only relate to it; we do not have the power to change it. Although modern world is cluttered with ‘the tangible’, the Wind is not tangible. And yet it gives life to the lifeless. Without it there is no travel: the sail is merely canvas, and the boat is just wood.
